Default Low Carb Old Fashioned Beef Stew

This recipie came from a Suzanne Somers Low Carb. Cookbook. Have made it
only once, but its very good. Sorry Carb content was not listed .

Old Fashioned Beef Stew

1 Tbsp olive oil
2 lbs. beef stew meat
salt and black pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
1 (14.5-oz) can diced tomatoes
1(8oz) can tomato sauce
1(14.5oz)can beef broth
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. dried thyme
1 bay leaf
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
4 stalks celery, chopped
8 oz. pearl onions, peeled

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over med-high heat. Season beef with
salt and pepper. Brown in olive oil in small batches. When beef is
browned, put into a slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir to
combine. Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 8 hours. Discard bay leaf
before serving.
