Oven Baked Chicken
 

Favorite Oven Fried Chicken

1 whole chicken; cut up
flour
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon savory
1 egg; beaten
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup butter

Preheat oven to 400 F. Combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and
savory. Combine water and egg. Dredge chicken in flour mixture, then egg,
then egg mixture, then in breadcrumbs. Melt butter in baking dish and
arrange chicken in baking dish. Bake for 60 mins., turning once or twice.
