I didn't preserve anything today.

I did find a f'real Bron Mandoline at Glenside's New Life Presbytarian
Church thrift shop. Older one - the handle's wood not plastic.

In line, people asked me how much they had it priced, I'd show them the
tag and their heads would explode.

$10.

This is not a tool for Stupids. I played with it after cleaning it.
You could seriously damage yourself making a wrong move. I love it when
tools are not equipped with Stupidity Restraint Systems. :-)

I saw someone get a deal on jelly jars yesterday. The going price at
rummage sales in this area is 25 cents (Canadian currency) per jar. I was
watching an elderly couple inspecting two dozen at a garage sale. They
offered $3 and got them. I had been considering an offer of the full $4
asking price but had bought a bunch at a rummage sale the previous day and
didn't really need more.
