Made up some slumgullion today with tag ends of the summer garden. Mixed
together sliced okra, chunked eggplant, diced sweet chiles, various
herbs including basil, oregano, garlic chives, then green onions. Stewed
it down somewhat and then packaged for freezing.

I don't much care for it myself but DW loves the stuff.

Pretty much, Americanism for "toss all the veggies together, stew them
down, eat it up."

I won't, don't like cooked okra except in gumbo and fried. Miz Anne eats
it as a side dish and sometimes just as her main dish for lunch or a
light dinner.
