Default Freezing pulp prior to canning?

Hi,

I have such a glut of apricots that I can't handle the processing from
whole fruit through to canning jam. So, I started freezing the puree
for later processing into jars. Is that ok as long as I finish the
processing within a couple of months? BBB says you should use fruit
as quickly as possible after harvesting, but I just don't have 4-5
straight hours to complete the process.

Thanks!
Sara
