Default can cooked chorizo be frozen?

Hi-- I have frozen the links of chorizo with no problem. Then I just take
it out ,let it thaw, and cook it up. I was wondering if I could could the
whole pound, cook it, then divide it up in to freezer bags and freeze it
that way? Thanks for any feedback.
