what was that candy?
I grew up on the Texas-Mexico border in south Texas.
We would often cross the border into Mexico to do shopping. My parents would always buy this candy. They called it "goat milk candy". It was a cylinder of candy, about 2 inches diameter, maybe 4-5 inches long. It was a very light tan in color, and was soft and creamy. Very sweet. You didn't suck on this candy, a nibble size piece would pretty much melt quickly in your mouth. Anyone know what this candy would be called? Lee Carkenord |
