A box of tomatillo or a can of tomatillo.

Traditionally cooked tomatillos are combined in a blender with serrano chiles,

Try this if you wish. It is easy to prepare and has been a favorite of mine
for years.

Brown 3 lbs. pork in 1" cubes, remove and set aside. Sometimes I will use
picnic ribs instead.
In the same pan sauté one diced onion and a couple cloves of chopped garlic
for a few minutes
add a dozen or so of your tomatillas chopped small along with:
1 tsp marjoram
1/2 tsp Mexican oregano
1 T dried cilantro or twice that fresh (I just tie several sprigs of
cilantro together, throw it in whole and remove at finish)
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
1/4 cup fresh chopped green chilies or a couple small cans (3.5 oz size) of
the same
1 chopped jalapeño
return pork and simmer covered for an hour. Add additional fresh cilantro
at the end and serve with or over rice
