Default spiral potato cutter

I was browsing for this item and found one that said email Julie for more
info. You were asking $20.00. I had to sign in so I could email and now
I have lost the item. Can any one help. Very interested in buying. No
haggling with the price.

I've just subscribed to this newsgroup out of curiousity, so I'm rather
late to post a response to this matter.

For all I know, a spiral potato cutter is (almost?) the same thing as an
apple peeler/slicer/corer (?) that can be purchased for about US$10-20
(give or take more or less), and there are quite a few different
brands/models. Most use the same design concept to do the job.

I have used my apple peeler/corer/slicer to slice potatoes and to make
potato strips for hash browns. There's a suction cup, or maybe a clamp,
at the base of most slicer/corer so the contraption can be secured to a
countertop. It's quite simple and doesn't require any electricity, only
some elbow grease.
