Chopping Onions Without Crying

Hi all,
I Hope you will indulge me and answer a quick question for me. I'm doing a survey to try and find out if there would be any interest in a tutorial that explained how to chop onions without the usual tears and burning watery eyes. If so, How much would you be willing to pay for such a tutorial.

Your answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,
Natalie

soap the onion in the water and chop it will help you to reduce this .

I've not posted here before but cannot resist this one. Pay? There
are already several cooking or kitchen hints books offering various
resolutions to such, including "onion cutting goggles" one can buy.
Also I've seen suggestions for the problem posted in every cooking
newsgroup online. Why would anyone need or want to pay for a
tutorial? An always works trick I use is to put the onion in the
freezer for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing or chopping. Also onion
goggles are cheap enough, or one can even buy onions already chopped.
