British Library Exhibition
I've been working in the British Library today. There's a very nice
temporary (small) exhibition of cookery/food books - Hannah Glasse etc - there. . I found it really wonderful, as I think most of the people on this ng would. Not worth a trip, but if yo'u're near King's Cross, worth half an hour. It was chosen (so they say) by Delia Smith, but don't let that put you off. :Lazarus -- Remover the rock from the email address |

Simplifys things so the ignorant (not the stupid) can learn, but for plain home cooking and the odd bit of fancy stuff, she's fine. I'd rather work with her than Jamie Oliver (another very fine cook, but the programs and his manner irritate). -- Kate XXXXXX Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |
