Default Supper Club Recipes

The thread about food in the '60s got me thinking. I'm looking for
supper club recipes (those high-end small dining rooms, usually with
live entertainment and/or dancing after or during dinner), of the 20s
and on up.

I've found Shrimp de Jonghe, but that particular question is, is it dry
bread crumbs or fresh ones? I've now seen recipes with both.
