how come casiono's serve free drinks? Can one order a margarita at a
casino, free of cost? I usually see people ordering beer or hard liquor.

Because alcohol lowers your critical thinking faculty, and makes you
gamble more. Seriously, that's pretty much it. You'll also find that
the more expensive the game you're playing, the more often and more
interesting your selection of beverages might be. The casino can
statistically guarantee a certain amount of money per patron per hour on
various games, so they know how much they're making from you. They give
you free liquor both as a reward and as a way of keeping you there
making them money even longer. The more money they make, the more
generous they can afford to be.

As for what they serve, ask. I think I've seen daiquiris go by on those
trays, but I tend to stick to water when I'm there at all.

And don't forget to tip your server.
