Two excellent Vineyards Shenandoah Valley Wines - Amador County
I have the pleasure of living a few miles from Amador County's premier
wine region, the Shenandoah Valley. So far of the seven I have tried my two favorites, Cooper Vineyards and Shenandoah (Sobon is owned by the same family as Shenandoah, the Sobons) The zinfandels and primitivos are phenomenal. The Italian grapes do very well. These are some of the best wines in the world. They have great fruit up front and very low tannin and acid. They have very smooth finish. Does anyone have favorite fruit out front wines? What is your favorite Amador County Wine and how does it compare to Napa, French or Italian wines? |
