Amendment to Delicious Welsh cakes
Hi all
Apologies for a mistake in the method, for Welsh cakes posted on the 6th November 2004 Please use this version 4oz Margerine 8oz SR Flour 3oz Sugar 1 egg 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg 4oz fruit (Currants) 2 Tablespoons of milk pinch of Salt Method Rub in Salt, Flour, Nutmeg, Margerine, Sugar, Then mix through Currants. Add egg gradually, and the milk if needed. Knead lightly Roll out and cut in fairly thick rounds, Cook on a well heated bakestone. Enjoy ! |
