Default St. Patrick's Day Cocktails

Still looking for that perfect green concoction to serve this St. Patty's? Here are two green (and one not so green) cocktail recipes to bring out the bit o' Irish in us all. Cheers!

o Irish Apple: 1 part Jameson® Irish Whiskey, 1½ parts Hiram Walker® Sour Apple Schnapps, 5 parts Ginger Ale. Serve over ice in tall glass, and garnish with a lemon wedge.

o Jameson Whirlaway: 2 parts Jameson® Irish Whiskey, 1 part Hiram Walker® White Peach Schnapps, Dash Bitters, Splash of Club Soda. Mix all ingredients except Club Soda in a shaker with cracked ice. Pour into a tumbler and top with Club Soda.

o Green Gobbler: ¾ part Hiram Walker® Pumpkin Spice, ¾ part ABSOLUT® Raspberri, ¾ part fresh sour mix (1 part each lemon & lime juices, 2 parts simple syrup), 1/8 part Hiram Walker® Blue Curacao. Combine ingredients 1-3 in shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into rocks glass and serve. A splash of Blue Curacao at the end sinks and turns green when you add it to the drink.

o Irish Tea Party:4 parts Sweetened Green Tea (chilled), 1 part Jameson® Irish Whiskey, ½ part Pernod® Absinthe. Rinse rocks glass with Pernod Absinthe. Add ice. Pour Jameson over the ice. Add Green tea and garnish with a lime slice.

o Irish Sour:1 ½ oz. Beefeater 24® Gin, 2/3 oz. Suze, 2/3 oz. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice, ½ oz. Yellow Chartreuse, 2 barspoons Monin Green Tea Syrup, 1 whole fresh egg white. Shake ingredients over ice and strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

It sounds very interesting ... I may try it out later tomorrow. :P

Thanks for the nice recipes! I'll have to try a couple of those. Another drink you can have is absinthe if you're set on drinking something green. It fun to make yourself too, if you're so inclined.
