Book for Brandy & Cognac ?

I am venturing into the world of Brandy and Cognac, and am looking for a
good reference book. Something equivalent to Michael Jackson's scotch
whisky book. I am looking for the basics here, history, process, some
tasting notes, and perhaps a rating system (not crucial though). Oh yes,
one other requirement; written in English!

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Doug.

I actually have a book on brandies at home. But it's more
of a tutorial, and home is 1700 miles away.

Sounds like a job for Google or amazon.com.

I have been looking, and see a few. Most don't have any reviews, or even
show a cover photo, so I was hoping for a recommendation.

There seems to be much much less information about brandy and cognac
than there is about scotch. I had read that scotch was much more
popular, at least in sales, but this drives it home in a clearer way for me.

Any others?
Doug.
