Holiday Cocktail Recipe Ideas
Here are a few holiday recipes I’ve pulled together to give a try. They’re all very different but relatively simple so they’re perfect for mixing up at holiday parties. Just a couple ideas for you if you’re planning a holiday party as well.
French 75: (a classic w/ a refreshing champagne topper) 1 oz. Beefeater gin 1/2 oz. lime juice 1 tsp sugar 3 oz. Perrier Jouet Champagne Shake the gin, lime juice and sugar with ice cubes. Strain and pour into a Champagne flute. Pour Champagne on top, and garnish with a lemon twist. Café Mocha: (an easy-to-fix drink that will impress) 2 oz Leblon Cachaça ½ oz Kahlua 2 oz half & half 1 oz chocolate syrup shot of espresso Add all ingredients into a shaker filled with crushed ice and shake sharply. Strain into a frosted martini glass, and garnish with a sugared rim and three coffee beans. Mistletoe Martini: (perfect to share w/ your mistletoe mate) 2 oz. OVAL Vodka 2 oz. orange juice 3 oz. cranberry tea 3/4 oz. lemon juice 3 tsp sugar Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into two chilled cocktail glasses. (serves two, of course) Mata Hari Liquid Strudel: (for the adventurous Absinthe-lovers) 1 oz. Absinthe Mata Hari 3 oz. Tree Top Butter Rum Cider Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake thoroughly and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a small wedge of lime. |
