I actually don't have a breadmaker- I don't bake bread often- but I have 2 loaves of french bread rising right now! I'm on a roll today! The Cuisinart you have is probably the one I was looking at last night- they have the "older' version 14 cup or the "newer" version 11 cup one for about $199. Does the older 14 cup one have the wide mouth so you can put things in whole? laurie > -- > "I never worry about diets. In other words, coupons with expired dates will be honored (IME at BB&B). One can also use as many as five 20%-off coupons in one shopping session at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. With all the recent chatter about the KA stand mixer, I feel compelled to buy the meat grinder attachment within the next few days! If I already have the shredder/slicer and the ice cream maker attachments, it only goes that I "need" to get the meat grinder to round out my "collection," right? This ng is full of enablers -- at least that's my excuse <g>. Sky, who's collecting 20%-off coupons |

What are you going to do, if they send them, how can you not get the meat grinder attachment?? Hey. nancy |

I preferred my geriatric La Machine which finally konked out after 19 years of fine service. I've used the new KA FPs and they are **stellar** compared to the Cuisinart. My 2p. TammyM |

If I remember right it's about a 14 hour drive, but we couldn't figure out what town is about half way. OB: Food. Went to the local VFW for the steak fry. Sirloin steak, grilled actually, not fried, baked potato, salad bar, ranch style beans and a dinner roll $12.00 (prices just went up from $10.00) this is a fund raiser the ladies auxillary puts on. Visited with the locals and caught up on the latest gossip and re-told same old stories. A good time was had by all Koko A Yuman being on the net (posting from San Diego) |

If you come over I-15 to I-40, then Flagstaff is about half way, I think. Maybe more than halfway. It's a nice little town... From Idyllwild, depending on which way I come, it is about 12 or so hours. That is allowing for stops along the way... Some great places to eat along the way...check out Chowhound and www.roadfood.com. Remember..this is for next year, not this year. I am still unpacking..I have to finish getting my kitchen and stuff in order. I know you guys live in a 5th wheel..will you be towing that along? So far, it sounds like a great group of folks that are thinking of attending... Even some old time rfc'ers have expressed interest.... Christine |
