TJ's carries a lot of good stuff, but their chicken broth isn't one of
them. Not even as good as Swansons.

After reading America's Test Kitchen reviews of chicken broth, I tried
the Swanson's Organic Chicken Broth. It is the ONLY one I'll buy now. It
really IS better albeit about fifty cents pricier. Try it.

I've only ever found it in the litre sized bricks, but if it is more
than I need for immediate use it holds well in the fridge a week or so.

TJ's is o.k. with me but I prefer Kitchen Basics that I get at regular
supermarkets.

It's darker than Swansons and the chicken is roasted before the stock
is made. I find it very good

If I recall what America's Test Kitchen said about that brand... I
believe they likened it to "dishwater"??
But if you like it, at least it is readily available and cheaper. The
organic swansons runs upwards to 3 dollars or so for the liter sized carton.
