These contestants are trying to win a spot as executive chef of a multi-million dollar restaurant in the swank Las Vegas Red Rocks casino. Much of what you see is merely play for the cameras - the contest is real and the stakes are high. While some of the contestants were cast for their ability to create "drama" some are dead serious and are actually experienced chefs. -L. |

Besides, when the "winning team" gets a day off and he takes them out to lunch or dinner or whatever, he's actually very charming and doesn't make them call him "chef" :) Jill |

Exactly, it's part of the game. Should contestants on Survivor complain because they're short of food then have to perform in silly contests? > Besides, when the "winning > team" gets a day off and he takes them out to lunch or dinner or > whatever, he's actually very charming and doesn't make them call him > "chef" :) And even during the cooking, he'll have private moments with the contestants to buck them up when needed.
