Default Why I love this group....

I made roasted chicken for dinner tonight, not fancy, just seasoned inside
and out with some Kroger's Chicken seasoning.

But I wasn't sure what kind of potatoes I wanted...so I googled the group
for ideas...and hey, roasted potatoes sound good...I didn't parboil them,
just cut up, coated with olive oil, sprinkled more of the chicken seasoning
on them and added garlic salt. They turned out nice and crispy outside,
nice and floury inside.

Chicken, roast potatoes and salad...Yum! Not typical Superbowl fare, but it
was good!

Thanks!

We had chicken, potatoes, and veggies for dinner. Marinated some split
breasts and thighs in a mixture of cider vinegar, oil, poultry seasoning,
and s/p for a couple of days and then smoked 'em today. One of our favorite
ways to prepare chicken. Served them with hashed brown casserole and sauteed
veggies.

I tried a new potato dish last night that I saw on a scandcook.com TV
show. Four different typies of potatoes (red, yellow, russet, etc.),
parsnips, rutabega, alternating layout in a shallow dish with garlic,
jarslberg cheese, milk, nutmeg. Baked in low oven for 1.5 hours. Turned
out nice.
