All in all, the best news was what you heard at the vet's!

Poor kitty! Poor you, in the other sense of the word! What does FIP
stand for? Is it what we call feline AIDS? We've just paid a fortune to
give Rumpole a course of the latest youbeaut vaccine because he gets
into fights.

I knew you were quite worried about Ramsey. Glad to hear that it seems
that things are looking up for him. Are there precautions you're able to
take to prevent the other cats contracting FIP from Ramsey? I quickly
looked it up on the net (had not heard of it before), and it's a nasty
condition, but there was some mention of a vaccine.

Kittens can get up to lots of mischief. I would like to have a cat, but
we have a cockatiel who spends a lot of time out of her cage, and I would
only want an indoor cat, so while she's with us a cat is not an option.

I am sorry to hear that.He was only young, wasn't he? We haven't had a
dog for some years now, since our old dog passed on. We're thinking of
getting a puppy from the RSPCA this year - just need Rob to do some work
clearing the jungle out back first <g>.

Default Cats was Making the rounds

Excerpts From a Cat's Daily Diary:

Day 683 of My Captivity:

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed
hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for
the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in
order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my
dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomited on the
floor.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet.
I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly
demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made
condescending comments about what a ''good little hunter'' I am.
The audacity!!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was
placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event.
However, I could hear the noise and smell the food. I overheard that my
confinement
was due to my power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to
use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my
tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this
again tomorrow-- but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches.
The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released--and he seems
more than willing to return! He is obviously retarded. The bird has got to
be an informant-- I observe him communicating with the guards
regularly.

I am certain that he reports my every move. The captors have
arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe--
for now. But I can wait.

ROTFL! When is the little bugger going to discover psychological warfare

I worked as a vet tech for a feline specialty clinic. FIP is the worst
disease I have witnessed in cats, excpet for maybe kitty Parvo
(Pnleukopenia). It's pretty rare for an adult cat to get FIP. I hope
he fought it off and it stays away!

I've been working so much that I haven't had much internet time, but I'm
hoping and praying that Ramsey is free of this awful disease. I wish the
best for him. I'd hate to have something happen to my "kids".
