yeah, this survey sucks but I answered it anyway because I'm waiting for
images to download and I have this sucky dial-up service and I have
nothing better to do with my time while my bread dough is rising in
between image downloads - oh yes and another one, if you are going to
import food from whereever please make it organic!

Thank you but I prefer to post my answer here. If you're too lazy to
retrieve it I give you my permission to omit this data.

Yes.

Wow, yes again! This is getting creepy...

> 3- Do you do the weekly shop?

We don't have a weekly shop here. Is that a new
chain?

> 4- Do you personally buy ready meals?

I prefer to buy unready meals; there's more suspense.

> 7- How do you feel that exisisting ready meals could be improved?

1. More caviar.
2. Add a prize; say, a crisp $1,000 bill in every few boxes.
3. Have them prepared and delivered to my door by Rachel Ray.

> 8- Will you be willing to try a new ready meal from Indonesia?

I dunno - that seems pretty far to go for dinner.

> 9- Is there a price limit you would stick to for a ready meal? If so,
> what is it?

I've never, ever spent more than $5k for any meal, and I absolutely
never, ever will.

> 10- Is there a particular part of Indonesia you would like to see a
> ready meal from?

Yes - the top part. I would think it would be less than sanitary
for any meals to come from underneath.

> 11- Are there any particular ingredients you prefer?

Those which are not moving at the time they are consumed.

> 12- Do you like fish - if so, do you have a favourite type?

Yes, I've always liked...oh, darn, what do you call them?
Those ones with the fins, that swim in the water?

> 13- Have you ever been to Indonesia?
> 14- Would you like to go to Indonesia? (If you havent already been?)

Is this going to be a condition for eating the meal? I SAID I thought
it was a long way to go for dinner...

> 15- What is attractive about Indonesia, food wise?

Not sure, but it surely isn't uncooked trasi...

> 16- Would you worry about: a) The healthiness of your food, b) where
> your food comes from, c) the packaging of your food?

I tend to worry more about (b) and (c); if my food was all that
healthy, then why is it DEAD?

> 17- Are you single and unemplyed, married and working, married and
> stay at home?

I have to assume that the single and employed have no business answering
this?

> 18- Do you buy ready meals when catering for guests?

Nope - let 'em bring their own.

Oh so I did but you see I wanted Izzy to get the full reply and I'm
still downloading images. Did I mention how annoying dial-up is for
downloading images? Total pain in the butt! I have my cheese sticks
made thanks to the slow download times. I'm now on hit 6 of 28 with
each hit having anywhere from 10 to 20 links. So I have a lot of time
while downloading to tinker in the kitchen. My cabbage rolls are ready
for the oven. I even made two smaller trays for the boys. I still
haven't come up with desert. I'm almost thinking of trying tapicoa
pudding. I have the in between pearl and instant tapicoa so that might
be an idea. By dinner time, I will only have to make the viniagrette
and cut the veggies for salad. I have a nice homemade rosemary and
lavender vinegar that should make a nice viniagrette. Now if my elusive
ancestors would just appear in this census, I would be really pleased.
I know they are there it is just wading through all the images.

Now see, this is precisely what I was talking about. Izzy was looking
for creativity as as food experts (snicker) we have a duty to provide
that type of creativity. How else are we ever going to get ready made
meals from some foreign country? I mean, we could easily be the ones
determining the market on this stuff, so please take it seriously

|| I've never, ever spent more than $5k for any meal, and I absolutely
|| never, ever will.
||
||| 10- Is there a particular part of Indonesia you would like to see
a
||| ready meal from?
||
|| Yes - the top part. I would think it would be less than sanitary
|| for any meals to come from underneath.
||
||
||| 11- Are there any particular ingredients you prefer?
||
|| Those which are not moving at the time they are consumed.
||
||
||| 12- Do you like fish - if so, do you have a favourite type?
||
|| Yes, I've always liked...oh, darn, what do you call them?
|| Those ones with the fins, that swim in the water?
||
||
||| 13- Have you ever been to Indonesia?
||| 14- Would you like to go to Indonesia? (If you havent already
been?)
||
|| Is this going to be a condition for eating the meal? I SAID I
thought
|| it was a long way to go for dinner...
||
||
||| 15- What is attractive about Indonesia, food wise?
||
|| Not sure, but it surely isn't uncooked trasi...
||
||
||| 16- Would you worry about: a) The healthiness of your food, b)
where
||| your food comes from, c) the packaging of your food?
||
|| I tend to worry more about (b) and (c); if my food was all that
|| healthy, then why is it DEAD?
||
||
||| 17- Are you single and unemplyed, married and working, married
and
||| stay at home?
||
|| I have to assume that the single and employed have no business
answering
|| this?
||
||
||| 18- Do you buy ready meals when catering for guests?
||
|| Nope - let 'em bring their own.

ROTFL MAO!
Good reply, Bob. I was going to try, but yours topped anything I'd
come up with!

yes to both. Seriously, I'm not gonna post all my personal details in
some ng.

yup... but Im not promising its weekly.

1/week

convenience when too tired, and in the case of pizza, taste. (sorry)

> 7- How do you feel that exisisting ready meals could be improved?

the main problem with these is junk ingredients, eg white flour instead
of wholemeal, msg, stacks of salt, hydrogenated veg oil etc.

> 8- Will you be willing to try a new ready meal from Indonesia?

depends whats in it, and what it costs.

yep, dont know specifically, but yes I do reject on price.

a) is a major criterion for choice with these foods, but no i dont sit
round worrying about it. Either it meets my criteria or doesnt, job
done.

> 17- Are you single and unemplyed, married and working, married and

like i said, not posting that sort of thing here

> 18- Do you buy ready meals when catering for guests?

lord no

> 19- Do you buy ready meals by choice or necessity?

choice

> 20- Any other comments?

If its a fish dish, Im not interested in buying.
If you want survey replies, come back to read the ng.
If you post your email here you'll get spammed.
I dont mind eating ready mades occasionally, but would hate to have to
live on it, and have no plans to increase my consumption of such stuff.
Its mostly low quality, and medium to high price, though there are
exceptions in both cases.

None of your business.

I make meals ready for guests.

I DO have to eat, so I guess I make meals ready out of
necessity.

I take it your survey did not go well Don't fret. Even *no results*
are results. From what I saw you did some results so just tally them up
and make that multi-million dollar decision as to whether or not you
should flood the market with your newest, greatest food product.
