Default Drunken Rib Eye

Had a GREAT steak at the local pub. It had been marinating in ale and
cooked to blackened perfection.

I have to try that at home. I have boiled Ox Tails in Guinness... maybe I
will do something similar but a parboil.

You don't mean you would boil a steak, do you? Marinate it, sure, but
then broil or grill it. -aem

I may watch EastEnders, but I wouldn't boil a steak! I meant to put it in
an oven bag with some beer... although I might want to check my insurance
policy first. Could be as successful as my microwaved eggs (a/k/a Chicken
Grenades).
