Thanks, for taking the time to itemize the new books you sent. I always
enjoy seeing what new cookbooks people buy, but specifically your list
refers to a book that I did not know existed "The Stonyfield..." even though
I use almost exclusively "Stonyfield Farm Yogurt."
I also have "The Metropolitan Bakery Cookbook." I like the book, too.

I'd like to know more about these two.

It will be a day or so before I get a chance to check them out (it's
late now and I have to work 'til 8 pm tomorrow), but I'll write up a
bit more about them then. The pancake one has numerous fruit and/or
grain variations for breakfast and savory pancakes for later in the
day (eg. wheatberry pancakes with crunchy salsa, sweet potato-chipotle
pancakes), chapter on crepes and blintzes, dessert pancakes.

Yogurt book has sauces, frappes, ethnic dishes, soups, curries,
cakes....

More later!

I discovered the Metropolitan Bakery on a visit to the central market
in Philly, so I'm excited to get the cookbook. However, the yellow
print for recipe names is really annoying!

I haven't bought any new cookbooks for a while, and have pent-up demand
now that I'm back to gainful, full-time employment. I'm thinking about
Nick Malgieri's new baking book and Mark Bittman's new book. Any buzz
on them?
