Kirkland/Costco stainless-steel pots/pans

Has anyone bought the Kirkland stainless-steel brand set of pots/pans? They
have a band of copper around the bottoms.
Quoting from
http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...av=&cat=&s= 1

"Each pan is manufactured with a five-ply base construction consisting of
two layers of stainless steel, two layers of aluminum and a copper core. The
substantial impact-bonded base enables the pan to reach and maintain the
desired cooking temperature quickly and evenly." 18/10 stainless steel
cookware, Copper-bonded five-ply base, heavy gauge." "Made in Italy (steamer
insert & lids made in China)"

I've been hoping that they will have a sale on these, but so far, not yet.
Any comments about these pans, welcome.

Don't expect a sale price at CostCo. If you can find a reseller,
maybe you can find a slightly damaged set there.

I looked at them this last week. If I needed pans, was leaning toward
stainless steel and didn't care if I had a designer name or not, I'd
buy them. The price is certainly right.

Compare 10 pieces of All Clad (on sale) for $538.99:

My husband bought me the stainless steel set (w/out the copper bottom)
from COSTCO, despite my moaning and groaning. Guess what? I love 'em!
I never thought I'd like anything without non-stick - but I do!

However, if you tend to cook on high heat (which I don't) - stainless
steel is not recommended.
