Default bad taste in mouth after eating chinese food

I get a bad taste in mouth for 12-24hours after eating chinese food. I
don't get the funny taste with other food. I don't think it is MSG
because I had it before and did not get the taste.

I get that taste in almost all the chinese restarants. I suspect it is
some preservative that they are using. I cook chinese food everyday at
home and never get that taste. Does anyone know what they put in the
food?

thanks
Andrew
