I walked into a middle-eastern store and asked for a jar of grape leaves,
and the owner pointed them out on the shelf. When I got them home, I noticed the jar said "vine" leaves not "grape" leaves. I assume "grape" leaves probably do not serve that function very well. What type of vine leaves would be used to create "grape" leaves? Ingredients say vine leaves. Just wondering. Tom |

AFAIK, real grape leaves are used for dolmas and other middle eastern wrapped treats (Which is I assume what you want to make). -- Peter Aitken Remove the crap from my email address before using. |

So my best guess is vine leaves are the leaves from grape vines. -- No Bread Crumbs were hurt in the making of this Meal. Type 2 Diabetic 1AC 5.6mmol or 101mg/dl Continuing to be Manitoban |
