Is there an alternative to butter
 
Hi i am alergic to butter and margerine etc,is there an alternative to
them when cooking/baking if frying i use oil but when baking im stumped

It depends on what it is in butter and margarine that you're allergic to.
You might try vegetable shortening, like Crisco. They also make a butter
flavor.

to my taste buds, extra virgin olive oil + salt tastes just like butter
when baking

this seems to be the one for me to try seems pointless trying something
that tates like butter when its butter etc makes me ill, how do you
weigh it out eg if 4ozs needed what amount of corn oil
