need a easy homemade recipe for a choc. pie.

ok, I think that this is an easy one....

for the crust, crush a sleeve of grahamcrackers

-mix with 1/2 stick of butter (melted)
-spread along the inside of a pie pan and chill

for the inside...

make a ganache (sounds more difficult than it is) by heating 1 cup of
heavy cream until it boils. Chop 8 oz (1 cup) of chocolate (or use
chocolate chips.) Once the cream is boiling, pour it over the
chocolate slowly while stiring. (It should take about 1 min to add all
of the cream if pouring it slowly enough. Cover the ganache and let
sit overnight (do not put in the refrigerator)

The next day whip 1 cup of heavy cream until it looks like whipped
cream. Place a spoonfull of the whipped cream on top of the ganache
and mix it in. Next place the rest of the whipped cream on top of the
ganache and slowly fold it in. Place on top of the pie crust.

Top with whipped cream or chocolate shavings.

Good luck..this is really good!

need a easy homemade recipe for a choc. pie.

Even easier:

1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 can water
2 1/2 tablespoons corn starch

Mix well and cook in the microwave until it boils and thickens.
Remove the mixture from the microwave and pour in 1 cup of semi-sweet
chocolate chips and stir with a whisk until the chocolate melts and is
thoroughly mixed into the milk mixture.

Cool for a while and stir every so often and then pour into either a
"crumb" or piecrust shell.

I serve this with whipped cream on top since it is verrry chocolately.
