"What Else Can I Do With Fresh Limes"?
Years ago I had a different but wonderful recipe for an Amish fresh lime
pie. All I can remember, besides preparing a nice flaky crust, is slicing the limes (unpeeled) into paper thin slices. The recipe called for what seemed like an inordinate amount of suger---but it was simply delicious. Perhaps Google or Ask Jeeves might turn it up for you if you are interested. Squeezing fresh limes and freezing in ice cube trays for future use (cocktails, lime aid, marinating chicken, lime butter for fish)...and on and on. Have fun inventing other uses for this wonderful citrus. |
