Happy Sheep Shepherds Pie (no meat)
 
Happy Sheep Shepherds Pie

Section A:

1 x onion
1x carrot
1x celery stalk
2x cloves of garlic

Section B:

1 cup of brown lentils (that have been soaked for a few hours in water)
1 tablespoon fresh herbs (fresh is best)
2 tablespoon Whitlocks worchestor sauce

Section C:

4x potatoes
salt + pepper (to taste)
butter + milk (to taste)

------------------

1. Fry A: in one tablespoon of oil
2. Add B: cook while stirring for approx 20 mins or until cooked. Add
water if you need to.
3. Cook potatoes, drain, mash up C:
4. Place in 25cm round oven safe dish (I use an old casserole dish),
cover in grated cheese.
5. Cook for 30mins at 180c
6. Serve with tomatoe sauce (or something you like, us New Zealander's
love our sauce)

Why would a New Zealander (with 50 million sheep) post a non-sheep recipe?
