Use this for the sauce - with Jamesons Whiskey

Irish Whiskey Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
¼ cup sugar
1 tablespoon Irish whiskey

Directions
Melt butter over medium heat in a quart saucepan. Add flour and cook,
whisking until well combined. Remove from heat and stir in milk, sugar and
whiskey. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly, until thickened 5 - 7
minutes. Serve immediately. Makes 1½ cups.

Use this for the bread Pudding.

Bread and Butter Pudding
Vary the dried fruit in this pudding according to your preference. Use
currants, sultanas, chopped dried apricots or a mixture of several sorts.

INGREDIENTS: Butter - 75 g (3 oz), White bread - 6 slices, Dried fruit - 50
g (2 oz), Mixed peel - 1 tbsp chopped, Soft light brown sugar - 50 g (2 oz),
Eggs - 3 beaten, Milk - 600 ml (1 pint).

COOKING: 1. Pre-heat oven to 170C / 325F / Gas 3.
2. Butter a 1.1 litre (2 pint) oven-proof dish. Butter the bread, then cut
off the crusts and cut the slices into triangles, squares or fingers.
3. Arrange half the bread in the dish. Scatter over the dried fruit, mixed
peel and half the sugar, then add the remaining bread.
4. Beat together the eggs and milk, then pour into the dish. Sprinkle with
the remaining sugar and leave to stand for at least 30 minutes. Bake for
35-40 minutes until set and crisp on top.
