Raspberry bliss
I had to get some provisions at the produce stand in our neighborhood
yesterday. Right next to the register there was a display of half-pint containers of raspberries for 99 cents each. This was too good to pass up, so I bought two. I found a raspberry cake recipe out of Bon Appétit (June 2002) and made it this evening. It was obscenely good. The recipe called for serving the cake with sweetened creme fraiche, but we thought plain old whipped cream would be better. It's good to be us. Cindy -- C.J. Fuller Delete the obvious to email me |
