REC - Shrimp Rangoon
For this recipe, I started with a standard crab rangoon recipe, and my
taste buds are much happier with the changes. Using shrimp instead of crab is not only cheaper, but more flavorful, and you don't have to spend a lot of time picking the tendons (or whatever those are) out of the crab meat. I'm guessing that the worcestershire and tabasco are probably the work of my demented mind, but it works. I'd love to hear about people's thoughts if they give these a try. (You can fold them whichever way you like - this is just the way I'm used to doing it.) * Exported from MasterCook * Damsel's Shrimp Rangoon Recipe By :Damsel in dis Dress Serving Size : 60 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : appetizers Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 16 ounces cream cheese -- softened 4 ounces canned shrimp -- drained and chopped 3 whole green onions -- chopped 1/8 teaspoon granulated garlic 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 dash Tabasco sauce 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce 60 won-ton wrappers -- (12 ounce package) In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except won ton wrappers and mix until well blended.
