Jeeze. Other than long nap, I've spent the day watching
FoodTV. I think I'm fighting off a "bug" of some sort...
<so move over Michael>

Anyway... this show (Oh Say Can You C) had a segment of him
narrating a piece on Tadich Grill in San Francisco. Not
only is it obvious he's never been there by the lack of his
physical presence, he stayed with the script and called it
THE Tadich over and over. NO local says "The Tadich".
Heck, the owner called it Tadich Grill on camera and no
writer got the clue. It's just plain Tadich to locals and
Tadich Grill when giving directions to tourists.

There is no "THE" in Tadich Grill!

Roker and his idiot writers should stick to what they know
in NYC.

;)
Bitch, Bitch, Bitch
<there's more where that came from, Wayne>

But few do it so well as you, sf! ;-)

FWIW, Al Roker spent an early spot of his career as a TV weatherman in
Cleveland, OH when we were living there back in the 70's. He was
"inflated" there, too.

There is a development a few miles away from where I live called
(prepare yourself for this): The Le L'ouvre.
