He replied from his home in chiang mai. Said they felt the earthquake but

Thankfully he and Nobuko were not on a dive trip. The sheer devastation is unbelievable. And, the number of lives lost notwithstanding, it will likely take years for survivors to pick up with their lives and their livlihoods again. Jill |

With all the news about Thailand being affected, I was certainly hoping he was safe. The devastation is incredible throughout S.E. Asia. I am familiar with the coastline south of Colombo in Sri Lanka and just can't recognize the places. Plus, the railroad tracks run right along the beach, just to add to all the other debris. Dora |
