Default Magic Bullet Mixer

I've seen the infomercials. Local Eckerd has it for under $50. Is this
thing any good?

Dan,
I've seen the infomercial too.. and am not going to waste my money on one.
When I do take the time to watch one of these, I watch closely. You might
want to do this before you buy. When they make the chicken salad, they have
to quickly move the camera because not all the ingredients are mixing up.
This happens with another thing they make too.. (I forget which one) and
they have to move the camera because there is a large unchopped lump.
Also.. take a look at what they are putting in there. Chunks of onion that
are about 1 inch in size. So.. you would have to get a knife out anyway to
peel, and cut the onion into small chunks.. same with all the other
ingredients they use in one.. they've already been cut into pretty small
pieces first.
Which, you can make cheese sauce in the microwave with only small chunks,
the cheese doesn't have to be pulverized first.. and I prefer chicken salad
with some texture, not smooth as paste.
It does look like it would be good for the frozen drinks though.. but I
don't drink those enough to justify it.
Let us know if you get one.. how you like it..
