Default Decorating a leek?

This evening I tried Anderson's leek braised in chic.broth with a
vinegrette drizzled over it. First time out with a leek and it was
delicious; unfortunately, the leek looks sort of green and needs some
visual contrast. I"m thinking of wrapping it with a strip of roasted
red pepper.
Anyone have a fav. way of presenting a leek? - Mike

Believe it or not, there IS actually a small cookbook called "First You Take
a Leek" and I gave it to my son-in-law for Christmas!
I don't recall the author, but Amazon has it.

I sometimes grate cheese over it and run it under the broiler to make
a crust. I like the roasted pepper idea, though. May try that next.
