The bird is in the oven. Everything is all laid out for the rest of the
meal until time to prepare it. Fire is going in the fireplace and I'm
enjoying a spicy bloody mary. It's cold out but sunny. Life is good.

Yeah, me too... only everyone asked what time to arrive and I said 1pm, dinner
is served at 2pm... here it is after one and nobody has arrived. If they don't
arrive soon I'm locking the doors, turning off the lights and life is going to
be good for me and my cats.

Actually my glare is much more effective... but they arrived five minutes after
my post, and now it's time for cherry cheese cake, pumpkin and apple pie,
vanilla ice cream, and RediWhip.
