Eggs are scarce since I hate walking home or even Ubering with them.
So yesterday was a headcheese sandwich with Woebers horseradish
sauce.

https://i.postimg.cc/xdJ8qs2D/Sadnwi...ese-Deluxe.jpg

That didn't really work for me - not a very good headcheese. So
lunch was the same thing using shaved pit-smoked ham on the bone
instead the Old Folks jelly loaf, add mr. mustard (also by
Woebers).

https://i.postimg.cc/d0b1C8s7/Sandwich-Ham-Supreme.jpg

That worked better. It was pretty spicy (mr. mustard varies greatly
in intensity between batches and I didn't test this one first).

4:AM this morning it was a rollmop with potato salad with some extra
ranch dressing.

https://i.postimg.cc/pL1y2w3J/Rollma...tato-Salad.jpg

That worked, too. It sure beats a bran muffin or Wheaties.

Tastes vary. I'd rather have the bran muffin or Wheaties.

Scrambled eggs with toast and a glass of milk might work for me.

That doesn't look like any head cheese I've ever seen... where's the
gelatine?

Not at all appetizing looking... I'd rather have the bran muffin and
Wheaties. That potato salad looks like vomit.

So no matter whatever I say I don't want for breakfast, you'd rather
have that? Last time it was dry toast and plain oatmeal.

Some people are like broken records. Where is the Queen of Broken
Records these days, anyway?

[Funeral announcement/Obit search... nope]

Seems like it. Your preferred breakfasts are much too strong for
me. Maybe by lunchtime I could take the palette of flavors.

> Last time it was dry toast and plain oatmeal.

I think you're misremembering it. Dry toast and plain oatmeal was
cited as fodder for a champion farter. No beans required.

In point of fact, for a number of years now my breakfast has been oatmeal
with salt, butter, brown sugar, and raisins, with a glass of milk. I just don't
crave variety at 5:15 in the morning.

It looks like Steve is paying tribute to the memory of the late Anthony
Bourdain by eating hideous foods, like head cheese on Wonder bread.
This article in Scientific American included:
_____________
In his description of durian, Anthony Bourdain once said, €œYour breath
will smell as if you'd been French-kissing your dead grandmother.€
And he considers himself a fan of the fruit.
_____________
-- https://blogs.scientificamerican.com...p-with-durian/

*Kitchen Confidential* is an important book, as it revealed the dirty little
secrets of the restaurant business, but Bourdain was a gross mother****er
who ate gross shit. Cockroaches. Ants and grasshoppers weren't
disgusting enough. He ate cockroaches. Only a sick person would eat a
cockroach.

Total BS book. Even A.B. acknowledged much of it was bunk after it was
published and people he worked with told him WTF? Remember, it was
written by a drunk/druggie. So his memories were a bit askew.

Hmm. Google "askew" and see what you notice.

I gave up maintaining a sleep schedule a couple years ago. So for
me, breakfast may be after I've been up for 2-20 hours, or it may be
after I've been asleep for 10 hours and it's 2:30PM. But I
generally don't call anything "breakfast" if I eat between 3:PM and
2:am, provided I did not start making it before Noon. Anything
outside that is "lunch" or "dinner". But I reserve the right to eat
eggs, sausage, bacon, English muffins, hash browns, home fries,
biscuits, etc... and call it "Breakfast for dinner", but never is
it lunch "lunch".

And then we have "Brunch".... Shit, how about I just do PowerPoint
presentation with flowcharts and graphs VIA video Conference at 4:PM
on Monday? Snacks and cocktails will be available.

Even when I had a consistent schedule, I never ate breakfast within
two hours of waking up after 5+ hours of sleep. I'm not a morning
eater at all unless I have no place I need to be.

I can see our habits are completely different. I wake nearly every morning between
3:30 and 4:30, eat breakfast at around 5:15 to 5:30, lunch at 11:30-12, dinner at
5:30-6, and bedtime around 8:30. I just function much better that way.

Sure, but the same can be said for the Bible. I'd already heard stories from
my sister. The rest of the staff, including my sister, thought it was hilarious
that another waitress ****ed on a tomato slice before serving it to a
notoriously bad tipper, and that wasn't an isolated event. The owner ****ing
the hostess on the dining tables after hours?

I had that yesterday evening without the glass of milk.
1/2 cup dry oatmeal, 1 cup water plus the other ingredients that you
mentioned.

I grew up eating Wheaties. Good stuff. I have a box here but never think
to buy milk for it.
