I seem to recall you commenting on having to go to the laundrymat.

I assumed the old one was toast. I looked at best buy and they had
some very decent ones in the fairly low cost range.

It would be far more environmentally friendly to buy a used one or
repair yours.

It isn't when the used one is hauled around and craps out and has to be
hauled around again. Repair varies depending on what is broke,
availability of parts and cost of labor.

Fix a $700 machine for $150? Sure. Spend $120 for a service guy to
come out to tell you he can't get a part for your 18 year old machine?
Not so much.

A brand new electric washer says little... I bought a brand new
electric washer and it works great for power washing siding, tractors,
everything other than laundry. Someone with a functioning brain might
have said clothes washer... yoose no more intelligent than Kootchie.

Someone less anal would have realized it was clothes washer, not
something for de-lousing your semi trailer.

Depends on whether someone is willing to repair. Thank God for YouTube,
I don't pay anyone to fix anything, for the most part.
