The downside
 

The downside to recovering from my surgery is a resumption of honey-do stuff. Well, we now have a light-up faucet in the bathroom.

It wasn't an optional upgrade. The old one needed to be replaced with something. At least the yuckiest job is done. Tell you, that hair that I pull up out of the bathtub drain ever few months is nothing compared to the 12 years of schmutz in that sink drain.

For about a buck someone with a functioning brain would buy a holey
stainless steel drain cover... Amazon has them in all sizes for sinks
and tubs.

If I didn't have one of those I'd be cleaning it out every 2-3 weeks instead of
every 3-4 months. You might say it's my own fault for marrying a woman who
doesn't have mange, but I like her hair.
