Sunday Supper

Broccoli rice casserole is in the oven as I write. I also cubed a
pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts to make it a one
dish meal. I may take my neighbor across the alley a container
for her supper and perhaps enough for her to take to work for
her lunch this week.

I had thought of a skillet of cornbread but I think I will skip it this
time.

We had a BBW grilled pork tenderloin that had been marinated in a oil,
apple cider vinegar, lime juice, maple syrup, with chipotle powder,
toasted and ground coriander seed and cumin seed and some minced onion.

I served with a sauteed garlic and asparagus pasta, steamed green beans
and mango avocado salsa.
Other than the beans, everything was delicious. A glass of Shiraz was
nice with it.

Sounds good to me. But the steamed green beans do sound a tad
bland.

They were certainly bland compared to everything else, but the worst
part was that they were old beans. We should have chucked them.
Everything else was delicious.

You'd need a whole new jar of relish, mustard and ketchup for that one!

Yes, when I lived in Philly we had it often. It was hard to find in CT
but I can get it at 4 different places in FL.

Publix carries a pre-sliced package but I prefer the chub and slice it
myself. I make 3 or 4 cuts in the edge so it does not curl up when
frying.

I remember mentions of Taylor Pork Roll (aka "TPR") from long ago
discussions on RFC. I can find it at Publix, too. I haven't tried it
yet but I have noticed they carry it.
