Default Covid19 shot

Got my shot today, the nurse did such a good job that I felt nothing,
or I didn't notice, I was too occupied checking out her massive
bosoms. I get to return for a 2nd shot in two weeks, hoping I get her
again.

Got mine yesterday and go April 5 for the second.

Also signed up for V-Safe. It is something the CDC does to check if any
problems. I'll get a text and link every day for a week, then once a
week for 5 weeks, then once a quarter.

They as just a couple of questions. Do you feel pain?
Do you feel sick? Do you have a fever?. Take only a couple minutes and
it may help others in the long run.

Got mine at Publix. They really have their shit together and handle it
well. Today I got a call from the county and could have signed up
there but no longer needed.

But what Sheldon really wants to know: did you also ogle the nurse and
does she sleep on her back?

The pharmacy assistant that handled the paperwork was cute, about the
age of three of my granddaughters. Doubt any admiration would have been
mutual.

It was a guy that gave me the shot, nothing to ogle.

It might have been different if it had been our resident nurse.

It's unanimous. I got mine yesterday, too. I go back the 29th.

It doesn't seem long ago when you posted Covid didn't pose a risk and
you even calculated the people you would have to touch even to come
close to it.

Even Covidiots eventually see sense ... or die.

Do you think the world's average IQ will have gone up a bit after the

This pandemic would have worked out better for most of us if the
incubation period was hours instead of a week or two, and perhaps with
higher mortality rates. That quick onset and severe effects would be a
little more obvious to those who attend super spreader events instead of
giving them a couple weeks on asymptomatic people walking around
infecting others.

It's all a big, global hoax. Even the vaccine I got yesterday was
fake!!!

....die at a rate of less than a single percentage point. Yes, let's
all get behind an basically untested and unproven vaccine, using
technology never trialed on humans before, with no evidence of
efficacy or reducing the spread of the virus. OK, makes sense.

Yes, because what you say is not true. It was tested extensively with
good results. The technology has actually existed for some time but has
just not been used in a mass vaccine like this.

If no evidence of efficacy was shown it would not be approved.

Neodome poster, that's the arithmetic of Covidiots. Excess deaths of
1 percent amount to ONE THOUSAND unnecessary deaths in a small town
of 100,000.

Your paranoia and false information about the vaccine shows a lack of
education.

That is a terrific tracking program and gives the CDC way of seeing

We had our Moderna shots a week ago at Walmart. Our appointment for
the second shot is 3 weeks away from first shot.
I was totally impressed with the setup that Walmart had. Well planned
out, quick and efficient. Little timers set for 15 minutes for each
person that got the shot.
Email confirming that you got the shot and when your next appointment
is.

Walmart said a lot of people showed up earlier in the day for their
appointments in the afternoon. So my afternoon appointment was no
waiting. Checking out with $34 worth of groceries took almost twice
as long.

Got my first Pfizer shot the week before last at a govt. health services
centre. Pharmacies came on board last week.
I get the second on April 6. There are a lot of anecdotes that the
reaction to the second one produces a few nasty symptoms. Hoping that
that is just idle gossip.

You hit a nerve with me there. Both sides of my family believed in that
crap and they all still do. "Assembly of God" church and each Sunday,
they have a speaking in tongue episode.

Right in the middle of every sermon, one old lady all of the sudden
stands up and starts speaking in tongue. Everyone sits there in silence
and listens to gibberish. This was the "Holy Ghost" talking to us using
her body.

Finally she would finish in tears and sit down. Everyone remained
silent. Then a minute later some other old lady (it was always old
ladies) would stand up with the "gift of interpretation" and she would
tell us what was just said in plain English.

Then the sermon would continue.

That freaked me out and I called BS. This was like a weird cult
religion. Kind of scary actually. When I moved out from home, I left all
that behind me. WHEW!

Those people can apparently tell when you're faking it.

Reminds me of snake handlers. Isn't that in Virginia? People handling
deadly snakes because the Lord will protect them. Religion can do
strange things to the human mind.

Very western Virginia (or West Virginia). It's in the mountains aka the
bible belt. None of that nonsense around here that I've ever heard about.

My sister thought about visiting a snake church once. You can imagine my
response to such a crazy idea.

I got the new shingles shot a year or two ago. It hurt like hell. It
was the first vaccination I had ever had that was painful, and it lasted
for a few days. I was dreading the second shot, but when I had the
second one it didn't hurt at all.

As for the Covid19 shot, I might be able to get it in 2-3 weeks. For
some reason, all native adults will get it along with the over 80 crowd.
Now the region is talking about also prioritizing agricultural migrant
workers. Heaven forbid they require them to be vaccinated a couple weeks
before they can come into the country.

First one was a breeze. Second one knocked the socks off my DH and my
SIL, and I must say, that I noticed an unwell feeling very briefly,
myself.

My neighbor across the alley got her second injection a few weeks ago. She
works in the healthcare field and had remarked to one of the doctors in her
department what a terrible weekend she had. She said she was sick about
36 hours. He told her that was really a good sign that she was healthy and
her body was trying to fight off the serum and building more antibodies.

My wife had a bad reaction to her first dose of Moderna, fever and
fatigue. That was almost a week ago, and she was fine after a day
or so. We all had Covid in December. I have been the strongest
proponent of vaccination for decades, and that hasn't changed. I've
had a few bad reactions to seasonal flu vaccines over the years, but
actually *getting* influenza is worse than hundreds of cases of
minor symptoms from the vaccine.

My hope is that this pandemic will cause more resources to be put
into vaccine development in general in the future--far more
resources--as well as more resources toward research and production
of more non-specific antiviral drugs.

The receptionist at work had the vaccine. She says that if felt like her arm would fall off. That's kind of a drag. She's an experienced RN so she tends not to overstate things medical. I'm scheduled to get the vaccine on Saturday so I'm pretty darn excited!

How did we know you we going mention tits in here?

There's supposed to be at least 3 and less than 6 weeks between your
first dose and 2nd booster.

Apparently every female he encounters, whether at the grocery store
checkout, the barber shop or the dentists office has huge breasts.
There must be something in the water in upstate NY.

I suppose if he doesn't have a woman with massive bosoms he'll wait a
while longer.

I imagine he approaches all women with a magnifying glass and introduces
himself.

It's amazing that he married a woman with tiny titties.

I'd bet $100 that half of these "big-bosomed women" he boasts about
are really just fat ugly guys with slight cases of gynecomastia. He
wouldn't know the difference.

(thank you for typo correction. My keyboard is skipping keys -
sometimes the last half of one word and the first half of another
all strung together as one. Which makes for some interesting
words).

I signed up for mine yesterday; I'm on the list. They'll let me know
when my appointment is and, according to the County website, they will
schedule my appointment for the second shot when I get the first one.

I'm kind of hoping the newest single-shot vaccine will be available by
the time they get around to me. Meanwhile, I'm still doing all the
recommended things - wearing a mask, frequent hand washing, etc. and
will continue to do so even after I get the vaccine. This is a tricky
virus.

Same here.

I'm hoping that when everybody at work is vaccinated, they stop making
us wear a mask every time we leave our cube. It seems pointless: the
guy in the cube next door and I breathe the same air all day long* and
then we have to put on a mask to go to the can.

*At least he's not actually there all day. Some days he works from home
and when he's in, he's often in the computer lab, poking some defenseless
computer with a meter of some sort.

We think alike, Jill. (at least on this). I'll wait until the crowds die
down and am hoping for the one shot (Johnson and Johnson) one by then.

I don't mind the mask when I go to a store and for years I've done the
don't touch your face until you wash your hands thing. I've never had a
flu shot and this simple practice works well. It's just common sense.

Did you see on the news the other day.... a fire built in a metal can
and everyone tossing their masks into it as a symbolic "hell with these
masks" thing. Those idiots.
