You'll have to discuss that with him. Maybe he will sell you his rag.

That sponge looks fairly new, but I bet in a day or two it will develop

In that case, why not post a photo of the finished results where you
cleaned it up with lacquer thinner which is not made for that
application and, probably, will do nothing to remove epoxy?

I buy 18-packs of cheap white cotton washclothes and use them for many
things. Fine to shower with, wash dishes with and always carried a dry
one for long runs to keep sweat out of my eyes. As they get older, good
for cleaning rags too.

I just opened a bottom dresser drawer yesterday and discovered 2 packs
of them, unused, from years ago. Now I have 36 more new ones.
(At Walmart, only 2.99 or 3.99 for 18)

Also in that drawer I discovered 6 pairs of unused athletic socks still
in the wrapper. WooHoo! I'd just forgotten about that and I do need more
socks so now I'm set for awhile.

I looked at your picture. White epoxy just on the back of your sink, not
the rounded end parts. Looks perfectly neat and clean to me. I don't
understand why a few here bitched about it and say it needs to be

There are very high quality caulks available.Â* Dissimilar materials
expand and contract and different rates.Â* That's why they make caulk
flexible.
