a simple bread pudding

old pancakes, well buttered, a few eggs, beaten with
extra milk and a few teaspoons of sugar, dried tart
cherries.

microwaved until the center was done.

i think i'm going to eat all of this for lunch.

the added sugar is just enough that i don't really
notice it and that provides some counter balance to
the tart cherries.

i was hungry for something like a bread pudding or
french toast and Mom wouldn't ever touch something
like this but it is perfect for what i was hungry to
have. :)

no picture, it doesn't look anything different than
you'd expect from what i wrote above, sitting in a
small glass bowl half-eaten and propped on my chest
as i type this - the spoon at a jaunty angle up to
the right.

Although I've had savory bread puddings, most of them are sweet and
commonly are eaten as dessert.

What's your problem with the eggs? Or is it the combination of
sugar and eggs?

Bruce just likes to snipe. He probably just couldn't think of anything
smart to say, but we are used to that.

This is your "witty" and "smart" owner. She makes asinine comebacks

be extinct. She's making a mockery of you. At least Kuthe does it
