or fridge when i got home from school so it would be ready by
the time Mom got home from work.

which is why i have no problem being here and helping out now.
for all she has done for me through her life i can certainly

I´m even later to the thread. I ate hot lunch for three or four years in
the late fifties. They were a break from my Mom´s fifties meals and the
PBJ, baloney sandwiches and occasional hot soup lunchpail food that I packed
to school earlier. I ceased hot lunch when I hit high school.
Remember when fish sticks were rectangular breaded solid fish instead of
chopped, formed and shaped sticks? I "think" I do from hot
lunch.

It's not about the food choices. It's about the person (not just one)
and their other posting habits....ie - bullies to others. I'm just
giving them a dose of their own medicine. They do it but really don't
like it at all when it comes back at them. Just that simple.

As far as drinking wine or beer with dinner, that's always just a tease
(remember that). I don't like it but I sure don't care if others do.

:) well, she tells me she's alive because of me and
some things that have happened and i say "Right back atcha
Mom!" :) we have a good friendship besides Mom and son.
she's a friend to a lot of people and does a lot of things
and so i always see me in a supporting role here so she
can do what she wants.

we also have a lot of humor flying around here all the
time. often she'll say she can wipe if i'm doing dishes

Well, wehn I was 13 and John was 15, we were 'delayed devopment
cooking' still so Mom, who didn't work outside the house didn't taking
us grocery shopping. We figured out eventually.

She 'fliped houses' as they call it now, for a living. WE got by better
than most with it.
