Dinner Friday (and Saturday) NIght

I made a 6-pepper batch of stuffed red, yellow, and orange peppers:
Italian sausage, ground beef, celery, onion, garlic, chopped tops,
Italian seasoning, cooked rice, worcestershie, FGBP. I got those
assembled and put in the fridge just in tome for my...

Meat calzone, grilled chicken cheesesteak panini, and fried ravioli
from the Brooklyn Pie Company delivered VIA Uber Eats. Their
calzone has changed from a crispy, airy, thin-crust to a big dense
donut filled with less toppings. And the ravioli would have been
better had they been less than 25 minutes out of the fryer.

With $20 off Uber eats order, the price came to the same as if we
ate at the restaurant (taxes, service fees, platform fees,
regulatory recovery charge, delivery fees, etc....). I don't see how
people use this service so often unless they have no concept of the
value of money and food.

Tomorrow night will be stuffed peppers unless I fail my rabies
program.

We had baked salmon fillets, air fried chips, steamed asparagus and
green salad.

Some people have more money than brains.
I wonder how this pandemic is affecting the people I know who never
cook. They have a really nice kitchen that never needs to be cleaned
because they don't use it. They go out for supper every night. The
don't have appetizers or dessert. They don't drink, and don't have
coffee, just an entree and water. They figure that it it no more
expensive than buying groceries and they don't have to prepare meals or
clean up.

You can't eat stuffed peppers if you have rabies?

I made a big pot of [Pasta fagiioli last night. I put some red pepper flakes
in it. Perhaps a touch much, but it's still very good. I'll have that
tonight. Maybe tomorrow too. Or I might make a Ciabatta sandwich.

LOL Sqwertz' food stories often come with a weird health update.

"I'm making croquettes, but I can only eat them if I can screw my head
back on first."

I'll have to eat something that's still alive and puts up a fight.
